CAPM V2 is an Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5. It is designed to analyse price movement, trend conditions, volatility, and benchmark behaviour before opening a trade.
The system uses the Capital Asset Pricing Model concept as part of its market comparison logic. It can compare the traded symbol with one benchmark or with a basket of related symbols. This helps the Expert Advisor evaluate whether the traded asset is moving in line with related markets or moving independently.
CAPM V2 is not a martingale system and does not use grid recovery. It does not increase lot size after a loss.

General approach
The Expert Advisor combines several types of analysis:
- trend direction
- higher timeframe confirmation
- volatility measurement
- spread control
- support and resistance room
- benchmark comparison
- trade management rules
- account protection rules
The program calculates a trade score from these conditions. If the score reaches the configured level, the Expert Advisor can open a trade. If the conditions are not suitable, it can remain inactive.
CAPM V2 may not trade every day. This is expected behaviour. The system is designed to filter market conditions rather than force constant trading.
Benchmark comparison
The benchmark module compares the chart symbol with other market symbols.
Examples:
- XAUUSD can be compared with US500, USTEC, EURUSD, and XAGUSD.
- BTCUSD can be compared with US500, USTEC, and ETHUSD.
- US500 can be compared with USTEC, US30, and EURUSD.
- EURUSD can be compared with GBPUSD, AUDUSD, and US500.
The basket symbols are used only for comparison. The Expert Advisor does not trade the basket symbols unless it is attached to those charts separately.
The benchmark names must match the exact symbols available in Market Watch.
Trade management
CAPM V2 includes trade management functions for open positions.
These include:
- Average True Range based stop loss and take profit
- break-even logic
- trailing stop
- trailing take profit adjustment
- partial close option
- time-based exit option
- spread-aware execution checks
- broker stop-level and freeze-level checks
The Expert Advisor manages only positions that match its own magic number. This helps it work on accounts where other Expert Advisors are also active.
On hedging accounts, trade separation is usually clearer because each position can keep its own identity. On netting accounts, several trades on the same symbol may be combined into one net position by the platform.
Broker and symbol settings
CAPM V2 reads several symbol properties from the broker, including:
- digits
- point size
- spread
- tick size
- tick value
- minimum lot
- maximum lot
- lot step
- stop level
- freeze level
- trade mode
Different brokers may use different symbol names and trading conditions. A separate preset should be used for each broker, account type, symbol, and timeframe.
For example, one broker may use US500 , while another may use US500.cash or another name. The same applies to gold, crypto symbols, currency pairs, and index symbols.
Adaptive behaviour
The Expert Advisor includes simple adaptive memory functions. It can track recent trade outcomes and market regimes. If recent conditions are poor, the program can become more selective.
This is not a neural network system. It is a rule-based Expert Advisor with adaptive scoring and trade-memory features.
Suggested use
Before using the Expert Advisor on a live account, test it on a demo account first.
Suggested starting points:
- XAUUSD on M15 or H1
- BTCUSD on H1
- US500 on H1
- EURUSD on H1
Each symbol should use its own preset. Settings for one asset should not be copied directly to another asset without adjustment.
Notes
CAPM V2 is intended for users who understand automated trading and risk management. The Expert Advisor requires correct symbol names, correct benchmark names, and suitable broker-specific settings.
The user should monitor results and adjust presets when market conditions or broker conditions change.
