Strategy Concept: Breakout Strategy Capturing Initial Momentum
GOLD LIMIT BREAK is a trend-following automated trading system designed to capitalize on the strong momentum seen in assets like Gold (XAUUSD).
It captures the initial movement of a breakout beyond a defined high/low range using stop orders. It then employs a dynamic trailing stop based on the ATR (Average True Range) to strictly limit risk while trailing profits effectively.
1. Quad-Layer: Up to 4 Independent Strategy Slots
This EA does not rely on a single logic. It features the ability to run up to 4 independent "strategy slots" simultaneously within a single instance.
- Flexible Timeframe Settings: Each slot can be independently configured with its own timeframe (M1 to MN1) and trading direction (Long & Short / Long Only / Short Only).
- Portfolio Effect: By combining different strategic perspectives—such as mid-term trend following on H4 (Long Only) and breakout trading on D1 (Long & Short)—the EA diversifies risk internally.
- Strict Position Limits: Unplanned averaging down (Nanpin) and Martingale are strictly prohibited. Each strategy slot is limited to holding only one position at a time.

To adapt to changing market conditions, the EA calculates entry and exit criteria based on real-time price data rather than fixed pip values.
- Real-time Calculation of Reference Values: Entry prices are determined based on the highest high and lowest low over a specified lookback period.
- Offset and ATR Integration: A buffer (Offset) is added to the breakout line to reduce false breakouts. Furthermore, the Stop Loss (SL) and Take Profit (TP) distances are dynamically calculated using the ATR to match the current market volatility.
