CCT Candle continuation theory Indicator for MT5
The market produces continuous movement across all timeframes. Many trading decisions are made based on short-term price fluctuations without structured validation. The CCT Strategy Indicator was developed to apply a rule-based multi-timeframe confirmation process designed to filter market noise and highlight structured continuation conditions.
Concept Background
The underlying logic of this indicator is inspired by the general CCT (Candle Continuation Theory) framework that has been discussed and popularized within the trading community, including educational content shared publicly.
This implementation is an independent technical development designed specifically for MetaTrader 5. It translates continuation and structural validation concepts into a deterministic, multi-timeframe algorithm with configurable conditions and automated visual processing.
This product is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Cramson Capital.
Core Concept
The system evaluates Higher Timeframe (HTF) intent and Lower Timeframe (LTF) structural confirmation using a sequential validation model. Signals are generated only when predefined structural conditions are satisfied in order.
- HTF breakout detection
- LTF liquidity interaction
- Structural reclaim
- Break of structure validation
- Final confirmation cross
All calculations are processed on closed candles using rule-based logic.
Higher Timeframe POI Logic
A Point of Interest (POI) is created when the previous Higher Timeframe candle closes beyond the prior candle's high or low. This level becomes the structural reference for Lower Timeframe confirmation.
The POI is plotted automatically and remains active until invalidated by structural breach.
Configurable Condition Engine (C1–C4)
The indicator operates using four sequential structural confirmations. Each condition can be individually enabled or disabled by the user.
| Condition | Description | User Control |
|---|---|---|
| C1 – POI Cross | Lower Timeframe price crosses beyond the Higher Timeframe POI level. | Enable / Disable |
| C2 – Reclaim | Price closes back across the POI after liquidity interaction. | Enable / Disable |
| C3 – Structure Break | Break of previous candle high/low on the Lower Timeframe. | Enable / Disable |
| C4 – Final POI Cross | Second confirmation cross of the POI after structure validation. | Enable / Disable |
A signal state activates only when all enabled conditions are satisfied sequentially. If a condition is disabled, the validation flow adjusts automatically.
Signal Characteristics
- Multi-timeframe synchronization (HTF + LTF)
- Sequential rule-based confirmation model
- Automatic POI level plotting
- Visual entry markers
- Automatic Stop Loss projection (based on recent swing structure)
- Configurable Risk:Reward Take Profit projection
- Optional EMA-based Higher Timeframe trend filter
- Non-repainting logic (closed candle processing)

Trend Context Filter
An optional EMA-based Higher Timeframe trend filter provides directional context. The filter displays bullish or bearish bias on the control panel and can be enabled or disabled by the user.
Risk & Target Projection
| Component | Logic |
|---|---|
| Stop Loss | Calculated from recent Lower Timeframe swing structure (user configurable lookback) |

- Real-time display of C1–C4 condition progress
- HTF trend status display
- POI status indicator
- Optional popup, sound and push alerts
- Customizable visual elements
