Boom Boom Gold Star

Boom Boom Gold Star is an automated gold trading Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5. It combines three selectable trading profiles, configurable exposure controls, economic calendar filtering and an on-chart dashboard.

Trading setup

Platform: MetaTrader 5.
Instrument: GOLD / XAUUSD, including compatible broker suffixes.
Account type: Hedging.
Tested chart timeframe: H1.
Test reference capital: USD 1,000 with a base lot size of 0.01.
Tested leverage: 1:100.
Operating requirement: A connected MT5 terminal or VPS with algorithmic trading enabled.

USD 1,000 is the historical test reference, not a validated minimum capital requirement. Broker contract specifications, margin requirements and trading costs must be checked before use.

Three selectable profiles

Standard: The base operating profile.

Balanced: An alternative profile with adjusted trade management. This is the default selection.

High: Larger allocations for selected trades. Exposure and potential losses increase, even when the base lot setting remains 0.01.

Select the profile directly from the Inputs dropdown or load its matching preset.

Trading controls

Twelve inputs provide access to profile selection, base lot size, maximum open lots, spread control, basket loss limits, EA equity drawdown protection, optional emergency stop distance, news filtering and dashboard settings.

The EA can add positions when price moves adversely. Additions retain the first position’s lot size within that basket; total exposure increases as positions accumulate.

Native MetaTrader 5 calendar filtering pauses new entries around selected high-importance USD events. New entries also pause when calendar data is unavailable, while existing-position management continues.

Historical test reference

Completed MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester tests covered 1 January–26 October 2026, using XM GOLD, H1, real ticks and a USD 1,000 initial deposit.
