QuantEdge Sessions Levels
- Indicateurs
- Version: 1.0
- Activations: 5
See at a glance where you are in the trading day. QuantEdge Sessions & Levels draws the Asia, London and New York sessions, the levels every trader watches, and the breakouts of the Asian range - with arrows that never repaint.
Sessions done right
- Asia, London and New York boxes from their high to their low, with the size in pips
- Each session is set in the local time of its city (Tokyo, London, New York): summer and winter time changes are handled automatically, including the weeks when Europe and the US change on different dates
- Your broker's time zone is detected automatically (GMT+2/+3 brokers and fixed offsets), or set it yourself
- Overlap of London and New York shown clearly
Key levels
- Previous day high and low (PDH / PDL)
- Previous week high and low (PWH / PWL)
- Day open
- Asian range high and low, drawn after the Asia session
Breakout arrows - no repaint
- First close above or below the Asian range after the Asia session (one buy and one sell per day at most)
- Optional: close across the previous day high or low
- Decided on closed candles only: an arrow never appears and then disappears
- Alerts: popup, sound, push notification to your phone, e-mail; optional alert when a session opens
Panel
Current session and time left, next session, today's Asian range and the recent average, distance from the price to every level, day open, last breakout, broker time zone. English / French, 4 themes, transparent, movable and minimisable.
For EA developers: documented iCustom buffers (arrows, signal, levels on every bar, Asian range, open sessions).
Tested before release: 8 Strategy Tester checks on forex, gold, S&P 500 and Bitcoin from M1 to H4, including both time changes of the year. Every arrow and level recorded at the candle close was read again at the end: 0 changed. Previous day high matched the broker's daily candle on every bar.
Works on any symbol. Sessions are drawn on M1 to H1; on H4 and above the levels are shown.
The arrows are information, not a promise of profit.
