EA Constructor Pro is a free modular trading system builder for MetaTrader 5.

This is not a single Expert Advisor with one predefined trading strategy.

EA Constructor Pro works as a modular framework. You choose the components of your trading system, configure them, and combine them into your own strategy — without modifying the source code.

Select an Entry Signal, add filters, choose a Money Management method, configure position management, Grid/DCA, Recovery, Hedge, exit logic and risk controls.

Change the modules or their parameters, and the same Expert Advisor can behave as a completely different trading system.

EA Constructor Pro can be configured as a simple single-position EA, a trend-following system, a mean-reversion strategy, a breakout system, a Grid/DCA robot, a multi-symbol system, or a more complex combination of several trading mechanisms.

Every configuration can be saved as a standard MetaTrader 5 SET file, tested separately in the Strategy Tester and reused whenever needed.

Constructor does not generate a separate EX5 file for each strategy. Every strategy is a separate configuration of one universal Expert Advisor.

All features included in the published version of EA Constructor Pro are available free of charge.

How Constructor Works

The EA architecture is divided into separate functional modules:

Entry Signal → Entry Filters → Money Management → Position Management → Grid / DCA → Recovery / Hedge → Exit Management → Risk Management

Each module is responsible for a specific part of the trading system.

You can keep the same entry algorithm and test it with different filters. You can keep the signal and filters but change Money Management. You can disable Grid completely and create a conventional single-position system.

Or you can build a multi-level Grid/DCA configuration with Basket Take Profit, Recovery and additional exposure management.

This allows you to change not only individual parameters, but also the structure of the trading system itself.

What Can You Build?

EA Constructor Pro can be used to create, for example:

• a simple Single Position system with Stop Loss and Take Profit;
• a trend-following strategy;
• a Bollinger Bands or RSI mean-reversion system;
• a breakout strategy;
• a price-action based system;
• a multi-timeframe filtered strategy;
• a Grid or DCA system;
• an Averaging or Pyramiding configuration;
• a Martingale or Anti-Martingale configuration;
• a system with Recovery;
• a system with Hedge or Counter-Trade;
• a multi-symbol trading system;
• a combination of multiple signals, filters and risk-management mechanisms.

These are only examples. The actual behavior of the EA is determined by the configuration selected by the user.

Entry Signals and Filters

Constructor includes multiple initial entry algorithms.

Available methods include Moving Average, Bollinger Bands, RSI, MACD, Stochastic, CCI, Momentum, ADX, Williams %R, Ichimoku Kumo Breakout, Donchian Channel Breakout, Pin Bar, Engulfing, two-candle price-action patterns, Supertrend, UT Bot and Smart Money Concepts.

SMC entry methods include:

• Break of Structure;
• Liquidity Sweep;
• Fair Value Gap;
• Order Block.

Compatible external custom indicators can also be connected through iCustom.

Up to four additional Entry Filters can be applied to the main signal.

Available filters include trend, RSI, MACD, ADX, ATR volatility, spread, trading schedule, higher timeframe, EMA distance, candle confirmation, Supertrend, correlation and economic news filters.

Filters can be combined using:

ALL — all selected filters must pass;
ANY — at least one selected filter must pass;
N-of-M — a specified number of selected filters must pass.

Entry algorithms and key Grid parameters can be configured separately for BUY and SELL.

Money Management and Position Management

Initial lot calculation can use:

• Fixed Lot;
• Lot per $1,000 of Equity;
• Lot per $1,000 of Balance;
• Risk Percentage.

For standalone positions, Constructor includes optional Stop Loss, Take Profit, Break Even, Trailing Stop, time-based exit, opposite-signal exit and trend-reversal exit.

If Grid functionality is not required, it can be completely disabled.

Grid and DCA

Grid/DCA is a separate Constructor module.

Users can configure:

• maximum Grid depth;
• conditions for opening the next level;
• separate BUY and SELL Grid settings;
• fixed or individual level distances;
• progressive step expansion;
• depth-based step zones;
• ATR-based distances;
• Grid lot calculation methods;
• individual lot factors;
• Basket Take Profit.

Different DCA entry methods are available, including distance-based entries, new-bar confirmation, candle-close confirmation, signal-based additions, favorable-direction additions, both-direction additions and Grid-filtered entries.

Level distances and lot factors can also be configured individually for deep Grid levels.

Basket Management

Level 1 can operate as a standalone position using its own position-management rules.

Once a trading cycle has historically reached Level 2, it becomes a Grid cycle.

From that point, the remaining base Grid positions are managed as one basket and exit only according to the selected full-basket exit logic.

Available Basket TP modes include:

• weighted-average basket price target;
• money-based basket profit target;
• Equity-based basket target;
• Basket TP based on historical Grid depth.

Basket TP can also be reduced according to previously reached drawdown or floating-loss thresholds.

Recovery, Hedge and Exposure Management

Additional modules are available for more complex configurations.

Recovery Engine can add a recovery position based on price distance, a trading signal, or both.

Hedge Engine can create opposite exposure based on Grid depth, drawdown, or a combination of these conditions.

Counter-Trade Engine provides a separate opposite-direction trading mechanism.

Exposure Balancer monitors the BUY/SELL volume imbalance of a symbol and can create an additional position to reduce that imbalance according to the selected configuration.

These modules are optional and are used only in compatible configurations.

Multi-Symbol Trading

A single instance of EA Constructor Pro can manage multiple selected trading instruments.

Per-symbol overrides are available for several important parameters, including initial lot, Grid step scaling, Grid lot scaling and Basket TP scaling.

This allows the same trading engine to manage both single-symbol and multi-symbol configurations.

Risk Manager

Risk Manager is a separate control layer of the trading system.

Depending on the selected configuration, it can control or limit:

• total EA volume;
• volume per symbol;
• BUY and SELL exposure;
• floating loss;
• drawdown;
• Margin Level;
• maximum number of active Grid cycles;
• account, symbol, Magic and directional Profit/Loss limits;
• Daily and Weekly limits;
• Equity targets.

When configured risk limits are reached, Risk Manager can block new trading actions and, if enabled by the user, perform emergency protection actions.

These mechanisms do not eliminate trading risk.

Grid, DCA, Martingale, Recovery, Hedge and other configurations capable of increasing exposure should always be tested carefully.

Grid Preflight

Before running a Grid configuration, it is useful to understand how much exposure the selected Grid geometry may create if its maximum configured depth is reached.

For this purpose, EA Constructor Pro includes an automatic Grid Preflight.

When the selected geometry can be calculated in advance, the EA estimates:

• initial lot;
• theoretical total Grid volume;
• distance to maximum Grid depth;
• approximate floating P/L;
• estimated required margin;
• estimated Margin Level.

Calculations use the actual trading-symbol specifications available in MetaTrader 5.

For ATR-based Grid geometry, the current ATR value is used as a snapshot.

If future Grid levels cannot be reliably calculated in advance because they depend on future signal conditions, Constructor does not create an artificial estimate.

Grid Preflight is a configuration-assessment tool. It is not a forecast of future market behavior.

Configuration Validator

A modular system allows many different combinations, but not every combination is technically compatible.

EA Constructor Pro therefore includes a built-in Configuration Validator.

At startup, the Validator checks critical parameters, value ranges, account requirements and incompatible settings.

If the selected configuration cannot operate correctly, the trading logic is blocked and the reason is reported in the MetaTrader 5 Journal.

This helps identify configuration errors before trading begins.

Trading Schedule and Restart Rules

Trading can be restricted by days of the week and by multiple intraday trading windows.

After a trading cycle is completed, several restart methods are available:

• restart immediately;
• wait for a new valid signal;
• wait for a specified number of bars;
• wait for a specified price distance;
• wait for the previous signal to reset and appear again.

This provides additional control over how frequently new trading cycles can begin.

Persistent Cycle State

Constructor stores critical information about active trading cycles.

This is especially important for Grid systems, where the EA must remember more than the number of currently open positions.

Historical Grid depth, cycle origin and other important state information are preserved so that an existing Grid is not incorrectly treated as a new shallow cycle after a terminal restart.

After startup, the EA synchronizes the stored state with the actual open positions and continues managing the existing trading cycle.

One Constructor. Many SET Files.

Every trading system you create can be saved as a standard MetaTrader 5 SET file.

For example:

EURUSD Trend.set
XAUUSD Breakout.set
AUDCAD Grid.set

Each SET file can represent a completely different trading architecture while using the same EA Constructor Pro.

This is especially useful for research and optimization.

Create a base configuration, change one module or parameter, save a new SET file and compare the two versions in the Strategy Tester.

One Constructor can therefore become a single working environment for building and testing many different algorithmic trading ideas.

EA Constructor Pro is distributed free of charge.

All features included in the published version are available in one product.

You do not need to obtain a different Expert Advisor every time you want to test another trading idea.

Build your own configurations, save SET files, test different approaches and reuse previously created systems whenever needed.

The main idea is simple:

Help Develop EA Constructor Pro

EA Constructor Pro is designed as an evolving project.

If you would like to see an additional Entry Signal, Filter, indicator, Money Management method, Grid/DCA mode, exit method, risk-control feature or another useful module, share your suggestion in the product comments or through the MQL5 messaging system.

Useful user ideas may be considered for future versions.

If you discover a bug or a combination of settings that does not behave as expected, please report it and include the configuration and conditions under which the behavior occurred.

Because Constructor supports a large number of possible combinations, real user feedback can be especially valuable for further development.

Share Your SET Files

If you create an interesting EA Constructor Pro configuration and would like to share it with other users, you are welcome to share your SET files within the MQL5 community.

When sharing a configuration, it is useful to specify:

• trading symbol;
• timeframe;
• main strategy idea;
• important configuration parameters;
• market or testing conditions for which the SET file was created.

Other users can independently test the configuration, modify individual modules and create their own variations.

Over time, this can help build a community library of EA Constructor Pro configurations and trading ideas.

User-created SET files should always be treated as configurations for independent research and testing. They do not guarantee future trading results.

Before Using a Real Trading Account

EA Constructor Pro can create a very large number of different configurations.

There is no single universal SET file suitable for every symbol, timeframe, broker and market condition.

Every new trading system should first be tested in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester. Forward or demo testing is also recommended before deciding whether to use a configuration on a real trading account.

Results may be affected by strategy settings, symbol, timeframe, spread, commission, slippage, liquidity, symbol specifications, account type, order execution and market conditions.

Modes requiring multiple independent positions on the same symbol or simultaneous BUY and SELL positions require an appropriate MT5 Hedging Account.

Historical or backtest results do not guarantee similar future results.
