Limit Monitor Pending Orders and Margin
- Utilitaires
- Version: 2.1
See your broker's pending order limit, free margin with margin call and stop out, and your open charts at a glance - read-only, never trades.
Limit Monitor shows the limits of your trading account on one clean panel, so you notice a problem before your broker rejects an order.
What you see
- Pending orders – your pending orders right now against the server limit of your account, with the highest value seen, your open positions and the total. If the server reports no limit, the panel says so.
- Margin – free margin in percent of equity and the deposit load, with the highest value seen. The margin call and stop out levels of your broker are written out in the card and turn red when they are reached.
- Charts – open charts against the MetaTrader limit of 100, and how many of them have an Expert Advisor attached and how many have none.
- Symbols (collapsible) – every symbol with pending orders or positions now, or traded before on this account, with its effective leverage, pending orders and positions.
- A small note when Algo Trading is switched off or the account does not allow trading by Expert Advisors.
Colors: green below 80 %, orange from 80 %, red from 95 % of a limit.
Read-only by design
- No trading functions: it never sends, modifies or deletes an order.
- No DLL, no web requests. It only reads account and terminal values.
- Light on resources: it checks every 5 seconds and redraws only when a number changes.
Settings
- Refresh interval, position and size of the panel (zoom 50–300 %, or follow the Windows scaling)
- Show or hide the symbol list, the Algo Trading note, the margin call and the stop out level
- Reset the highest values
How to use
Attach Limit Monitor to an empty chart of any symbol. It needs its own chart (it counts as one of the 100 charts). Algo Trading does not have to be enabled for the monitor itself.
Note: the limits are what the trade server reports for your account. Some brokers and prop firms have additional rules (for example a combined limit for pending orders and positions) that MetaTrader does not report – check the terms of your broker.
