ATS Gold Bias

WHICH SIDE IS OPEN?

You trade gold on M5 or M15, but the trend that matters is on H1. ATS Gold Bias puts the H1 picture on the chart you trade, so you never have to switch timeframes to know which side is open.

THE H1 BIAS LINE

• The H1 EMA 50 drawn on your chart, bar by bar
• Green while the last closed H1 bar is above it: longs allowed
• Red while it is below: shorts allowed
• A dot where the bias turned, plus an optional popup or push alert

THE PANEL

• The side that is open, and since when (date, hour and how long ago)
• H1 trend health: EMA 50/200 stack, ADX 14 (trending or ranging), distance from the EMA in ATR (flagged when stretched beyond 3 ATR)
• Session clock: productive hour or not, and the time to the next one
• Today's range against the 14-day average, so you know how much of a normal day gold has already moved
• Spread check in the header: green when normal, red when too wide
• Countdown to the close of the running bar

ON THE CHART

• Productive hours shaded on the whole history. The shade follows your chart colours, dark or light
• The panel can be dragged, has dark, light and automatic themes, and keeps its size on high resolution monitors

NO REPAINT

Every value comes from closed H1 bars. The line and the dots never move after they appear.

FOR EA BUILDERS

Two buffers readable with iCustom: 0 = the H1 bias line, 1 = its colour (0 longs allowed, 1 shorts allowed).

GOOD TO KNOW

• It shows context. It does not give entry signals and never opens, modifies or closes an order.
• Built for XAUUSD on M5 and M15. It works on any symbol and on any timeframe up to H1.
• The default productive hours (9, 13-17) are in SERVER time and come from our tests on gold. Set your own in the inputs.
