Quanition Semi Auto Cockpit

Semi Auto Cockpit is a pre-trade grid simulator and an execution cockpit for XAUUSD. You decide and place every entry. The tool sizes it, bounds its loss, manages it afterwards, and — before you commit — shows you where the position breaks.

WHAT IT DOES

- Read-only mode: displays the account and any grid this EA itself opened, and changes nothing. This is the install default.
- Semi-auto mode: you click the entry; the cockpit takes sizing, basket-stop management, trailing and exposure limits from there.
- A pre-trade simulator answers, at every planned grid depth, the question a settings screen never does — where does this position break, and what does it cost when it does. It reports total exposure, floating loss, margin level, the stop-out price and the loss at that price, including the case where a stalled grid is frozen rather than closed and still breaks further out than the point where it stalled, and the case where a converging grid's shrinking spacing still has a price floor.
- The basket-level stop is denominated in the cycle deposit, not the account balance, so the loss bound does not grow just because the account has. IMPORTANT: it is client-side only. It runs inside this EA on this terminal, and it stops existing the moment the terminal does — a VPS or terminal shutdown, a dropped connection, or removing the EA all remove it too. It is not mirrored to a broker-side stop in this build. Disarming semi-auto stops new orders; it does not remove the loss bound from a position that is already open.
- Every order, modification and automatic close is written to an audit log: requested vs filled volume, both prices, the return code and the reason.
- It only ever touches positions it opened itself and recorded as its own. Everything else on the account, including other EAs' open positions and anything opened by hand, is read-only, without exception. There is no affordance in this build for handing it an existing position to manage.

MODES

- Read only — no entry, no management. Display only. This is the install default.
- Semi auto — you click the entry; the basket stop, trailing, break-even and the exposure limits then run on their own.
- Full auto — NOT AVAILABLE IN THIS BUILD.

Every one of the automatic behaviours ships switched OFF, and each is its own input: trailing/break-even, partial take profit, the drawdown close, and live firing of the basket stop. Turning semi-auto on does not turn them on.

Full-auto mode exists in the interface and cannot be armed in this build. There is no calibrated signal source behind automatic entry, so arming it would fire on nothing meaningful — the product refuses instead of guessing. Anyone buying this for hands-off trading should not buy it yet.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO

- It does not trade for you unattended. Full-auto cannot be armed in this build, for the reason above.
- It does not place a per-position stop loss on grid legs. The basket-level stop described above is the only loss bound, and it is client-side only — it does not survive the terminal closing, a dropped connection, a VPS outage, or the EA being removed.
- The basket stop ships in DRY RUN: until you switch it to live firing, it measures and reports and closes nothing. That switch is separate from the global dry-run setting, so it is possible to send real orders while the loss bound is still only logging. Check both before you trade.
- It does not move money. When it judges the deposited principal recovered it tells you to withdraw; making the withdrawal is yours to do.
- It does not redistribute any purchased indicator. Signal sources are read at runtime, and an unreadable one is reported as failed rather than guessed at.
- It does not touch any position it did not open — not even to add a protective stop to it.
- By design the cycle recovers the deposited principal at its target and then keeps trading on what is left. The remainder is treated as expendable capital, not as capital to be preserved — losing it is an expected outcome of the strategy, not a malfunction.
- It makes no performance claim of any kind. There is no backtest attached to this listing, because the product's value is the pre-trade information and the execution/management layer, not a track record.

REQUIREMENTS

- MT5 hedging account. On a netting account the product still starts, but semi-auto cannot be armed: per-position ownership does not exist there, so the safety model does not hold.
- The traded symbol must publish a tick value; symbols that do not are excluded.
- No DLL, no external network access.

WHO SHOULD BUY

- Discretionary traders who want execution and post-entry management automated, without automating the entry decision itself.
- Grid users who want the breakdown point shown before they add a leg, instead of finding out by adding it.
- Anyone running several EAs on one account who needs per-magic attribution and wants certainty that this tool will not touch the others' positions.

WHO SHOULD NOT BUY

- Anyone looking for a signal source. The trend signal drives this product's own entries; it is not published or sold separately.
- Anyone who wants a hands-off system and no testing of their own. Full-auto opens single stopped positions on a deliberately conservative trend rule, and no performance figure has been recorded for it — test it on your own symbol, timeframe and broker first.
- Anyone who wants the GRID legs placed automatically. They are drawn, never sent.
- FIFO accounts, where the basket-stop mechanism structurally cannot fire the way it is designed to.

RISK DISCLOSURE

This product can operate a recovery grid, which adds positions against an adverse move. That mechanism has a specific failure shape and it belongs here, next to the description above, not at the bottom of the page:

- The basket stop is a trigger, not an instant ceiling — there is execution latency and slippage between the trigger firing and the position actually closing, so the realised loss at a stop event can differ from the configured trigger level.
- The basket stop is client-side only, as stated above. If the terminal is not running when the trigger condition is reached, the stop does not fire at all.
- A stalled grid (one that can no longer fund its next leg because free margin is exhausted) is frozen, not closed. If the market later resumes moving against it, the eventual loss can be materially larger than the loss visible at the point where it stalled.
- In the worst case, a loss on this mechanism can exceed the deposited balance itself, leaving a debit. No figure for how large is quoted in this listing, because no backtest of this product exists to trace one to — see the source rules above.
- The exposure limits and the basket stop do not switch off just because semi-auto mode is disarmed; disarming stops new orders, it does not unwind or close an already-open position.
