This account is my diary as a trader through the years. It is a silent witness of how i evolve through the years.
Starting my journey, i was a naive trader whose sole purpose is to gain huge profits without knowing the danger of drawdown, but somewhere along the way, i faced situation where after a big compounding effect on my account, it all went back to my starting point. This event made me realise that no matter how big my profit was, if i didn't pay attention to drawdown, then everything will still be gone one day. Now as my experience continue to add up through the years, i learn to shift my focus, from chasing huge gains, to now learning to control my drawdown.
I eventually realise that Risk of Ruin plays a huge part in how i can compound my balance into a life-changing amount, and reaching my goal of financial freedom for me and my family
