Hi Vlad, I am using AI Sniper and I have a question on settings: I'm on default, US trader, FIFO. It's running great

1. Question: is regarding trade #1148397154, the loss on USDJY. What setting adjustment would I make to eliminate this SL and just let it with out SL?

2. Question: you can see in the log that Hedges are being prevented (FIFO Broker), is there a setting I could make to prevent this attempt?

3. to limit to only one pair trade being open at any time for FIFO, what adjustment would I make?

The concept of a stop loss is fundamentally about mitigating potential financial losses. I strongly advise against the removal of stop loss orders, as they play a crucial role in ensuring that your trading account remains secure and does not face a freeze due to excessive losses. Essentially, a stop loss order sets a predefined maximum loss threshold that can be incurred from an open transaction, serving as a protective measure.

The necessity of a stop loss arises from the inherent volatility in market prices, which can fluctuate in various directions. Unfortunately, even the most sophisticated trading advisors cannot predict these price movements with absolute certainty. To address this challenge, I am actively working on integrating artificial intelligence to reduce the frequency of such stop losses and enhance overall trading accuracy.

Regarding the First In, First Out (FIFO) rule, it is my recommendation to select a broker that does not enforce FIFO regulations. Compliance with FIFO can hinder the effectiveness of certain trading strategies, preventing them from operating as designed by their creators. By choosing a broker without FIFO constraints, you can ensure that my trading strategy functions optimally.


In the next update I will try to make my trading expert advisor take into account fifo rules and not try to hedge trades. But this is contrary to the rules of the trading strategy.

By the way, this trading strategy will analyze ticks and its trades in the future to prevent bad trades. This is currently the first version. There are a lot of ideas and work ahead.

Yes I have this option in the xcustomea :
OnePosPerDirectionOpening 1 deal in 1 direction,


e.g.:
if OnePosPerDirection = true 
and ONlyOnePosbySignal = false 
then the EA can open 1 Buy deal (position) on a signal and 1 Sell deal (position) on a signal;


if OnePosPerDirection = false 
and ONlyOnePosbySignal = true 
then the EA can only open one deal(position) at a signal, either Buy or SELL;


if OnePosPerDirection = false 
and ONlyOnePosbySignal = false 
then the EA can open any deals(positions) for each new indicator signal;

It's currently at 1 hour, is there a benefit to 1 hour or can it be less with out effecting accuracy?

I think 1 hour after a big stop loss is a good number.

If the expert advisor received a stop loss, then the signal was false. And to “accumulate” new ticks with a clean signal, 1 hour is enough for this.

In my opinion, accuracy is always relative, and it’s impossible to determine how much time is needed for an accurate calculation in advance. This parameter was chosen based on ten years of experiments and testing. An Expert Advisor (EA) operates strictly according to a set schedule, unlike a human, who thinks differently when viewing a live chart.

It's worth noting that artificial intelligence has "fine-tuning" capabilities, which allow it to adapt to market realities. Therefore, every trading EA is essentially an AI because all parameters can be adjusted. The figure of 1 hour was identified through many years of testing. These parameters act as filters to exclude unfavorable moments in signals.

The speed at which ticks are collected in the terminal depends on the market. If a trade was closed with a stop loss, it takes time to accumulate enough ticks to determine a new signal. For example, to generate a signal, the tick array must contain the last 10,000 ticks, representing the history of recent ticks. Even if the trading symbol has 1-3 ticks per second, this equates to 3600-10800 ticks per hour. Therefore, a 1-hour pause after a stop loss is the average duration needed for the EA to collect "new" ticks and make a decision.

No. This function is only for trades that are closed with a stop loss (with a loss)

Hi Vlad, I have both bars in History and bars in Chart set at 5000. Does the EA require any of these to perform it's analysis? What do you set your at? Could I set bars history to 0? Bars in chart to 1000?
