Discussion of article "MQL5.community - User Memo" - page 6

Suzana Thomazzini # I opened an account by telephone on 15 December 2020. At the time I was assisted, but lost contact due to lack of internet signal. I started with 100 dollars, I didn't know how to operate on my own. I found my details and password. I need help to operate.

From your account, it's important to be aware of a few points:

The scenario you describe - opening an account over the phone, with an "advisor" managing your money who then disappeared - is a classic pattern of fraud in the financial market. Unfortunately, it's very likely that you've fallen victim to this type of scam.

MetaQuotes (the company behind the MQL5 website) is not a broker and does not offer investment account opening services. It only develops the MetaTrader platform. Brokers are the ones who open trading accounts, and they have formal online registration processes with document verification - never just a phone call.

The account you have on the MQL5 website is just a community account (forum, robot marketplace, etc.), not a trading account with a balance. In your profile, you can access the statement and check if there have been any financial transactions linked to the site's services.

There are no quick or easy paths in this market. Trading requires study, practice and specialisation - it's not something you delegate to a stranger who calls offering "advice". Anyone who promises to trade your money with guaranteed returns is almost always a scammer.

Before you do anything else, it's worth reading this community thread on how to choose a reliable broker: https://www.mql5.com/pt/forum/446741

Be careful and good luck!
