Hello,

Thank you for your previous response and for helping me understand the issue more clearly.

To summarize the situation: I'm trying to use MQL5 Signals to copy trades on my MT5 account with JustMarkets. My signal provider trades symbols with the suffix "r" (e.g., AUDCADr, AUDJPYr, EURUSDr), while my MT5 account on JustMarkets uses the suffix ".m" (e.g., AUDCAD.m, AUDJPY.m, EURUSD.m).

Although the corresponding pairs are visible and available in my Market Watch, MQL5 Signals still returns:

  • "signal copying is prohibited by your broker"
  • "symbol ... not found"

As advised, I have contacted JustMarkets support directly and sent them the same screenshots, asking whether this specific MT5 server/account type supports MQL5 Signals symbol mapping.

My question to you:
While I wait for their response, could you please confirm:

  1. Is this type of suffix mismatch (r vs .m) something MQL5 can resolve or assist with on your end, independent of the broker's confirmation?
  2. If JustMarkets confirms their server doesn't support signal copying/symbol mapping, is there a workaround on MQL5's side (e.g., manual symbol mapping settings), or would I need to switch to a different account type/server entirely?
 

If these symbol suffixes can't be mapped automatically, they will not mapped at all.

You should try with another (the same if possible) broker that uses the same symbols as the signal provider.

My question to you:

Mapping dies not work on the following cases/situations: 

  • if the margin calculation for the symbols are not Forex;
  • if you have more than one symbol for one instrument.

So, how many symbols for AUDUSD are proposing by your broker? If more than one so sorry - you need to change the broker in case you want to copy this symbol.

Read this part of FAQ -

The Provider has trading symbol called GOLD, and my broker has the same instrument, but it is called XAUUSD. Are trades on GOLD copied to XAUUSD in that case?
