How do I do that
while "Notifications from the trade server" do not require Desktop MT5 to be running.
But sending notifications from the server must be activated by the broker on the server.
Do some broker-dealers refuse to support notifications from their trade server?
(I've never experienced that).
So I have to contact my broker in order for me to get notified when im in a trade

Also an option but if you dont want to wait on them trying to fix that, you can just simply prompt to an ai chatbot to program an EA that sends an telegram message or sends an email to you. if you set that up on your vps it will be working
I don't use a VPS due to Murphy's Law as it applies to additional hardware, nor do I use AI because I write better code than it does. I can do without its hallucinations, inefficient code, and required re-prompts. My fear of devolving from a programmer into a prompter is real.
To be clear, I use a beefy gaming pc, MT5 Desktop (Release), a 1000 Mbps Ethernet connection, a hard emergency Ethernet kill switch, a Windows based internet service disconnect alarm, my MT5 based trade server disconnect alert indicator (CodeBase), and "Notifications from the local terminal." MT5 Mobile is on my phone for the purposes of receiving trade notifications and emergency manual "liquidate everything."
If I use "Notifications from the trade server," I simply get duplicate trade notifications sent to my phone.
My appreciation for T S's Post #34 is mainly in sympathy with those who don't do what I do.
