That's not the point.

Even without needing buffers/plots it used to be necessary to declare them as '0'.

And don't defining them properly where using them was giving a warning.

Actually, nothing has changed.

The warning only appears if you have no '#property indicator_xxx' at all. If you only miss the '#property indicator_plots' the compiler stays silent.

no indicator plot defined for indicator        0    0

Wouldn't that contradict Fernando's use case of an indicator?

I also noticed, the first buffer is assigned, no matter if indicator_plots is set or not. So it always has 1 buffer attached, even if the first plot requires more than one buffer.

So the value is actually not casted?!

No idea what you mean.

If you have buffer(s)/plot(s) you NEED to define

#property indicator_plots    X
#property indicator_buffers  Y

If you don't, it will compile but the indicator will not work (nothing displayed).

Unclear.

English has standard conjugation rules that most verbs follow. These words are called regular verbs . Not all verbs follow the rules, though. Words that do not follow standard conjugation rules are called irregular verbs , and there is no easy way to tell how they should be conjugated except to memorize them. Cast is one such verb. Is its past...

'The Hindu,' an Indian daily, reports: Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitely casted his vote at Chimanbhai Patel Institute opposite Karnavati club. Does the verb cast have a form as casted ?

Dominik Egert #:
So the value is actually not casted?!
In short, there is no compiler error in this case.
