Totally agree with you. I am just saying this is how it is working. For now as an urgent solution metaquotes can add more complex development assessment checks as well as increased minimum price.
They won't do it because they're winning that way.
From their point of view, the more accessible the development is, the more commissions they take through Freelancers or the marketplace.
All their rules are only in this direction, supported by the work of the modo (...)
Anything that could allow us to avoid going through these two big services and be reprimanded.
I've been in this situation and I know how it ends.
We are grinding down from the bottom and getting people used to evaluating the cost of a service that is not the right one.

Yes. And we can notice the same effects in other "freelancer platforms" as well. Specially because these same "project managers" that are present in Metaquotes Freelance Section are also hunting costumers in the other platforms. Causing like a "global" low unrealistic prices pandemic and also spreading bad services for the costumers.

Another thing that i noticed is that some freelancers use tricks to keep their good scores like not accepting the requirements before completion of the projects, this way they can take days to deliver the results and just accepting the requirements seconds before the delivery. If you look at the reviews you see only good reviews and projects completed within seconds (what is not possible for all project, maybe some but not all like we can see in many profiles). But there is not a track (review/arbitration) of customers that was cheated by these freelancers.
that happens when the freelancer delivers a demo of what the client asked in their first reply , but even then its 50/50 you will be accepted.

The sad reality we have to come to terms with is that the only employed coders will be those with experience in machine learning , and gigantic projects .
As someone else said earlier last week , the new chatGPT is a very agile coding team member but it needs a manager.
Where things are headed there will be a point in time where it will be "an improvement" for metaquote's services to add a gpt freelancer with a subscription or per piece of code.
Also if metaquotes does not do it someone else will.
You got to understand for these giant ai teams everything is seen as a challenge for their models. When the open ai team sees "trading forex" as a challenge for it's models it will decimate an entire sector in days.
Its also weird that open source works in their favour . If you discover some new magical crunching method that works on one cpu core decently they will copy it and put it on their vast array of compute units . They win no matter what.
I think you cannot compare mql freelancers with other sites. Mostly because we are indirectly connected to trading business that can turn into multi millions if one learns it well.

I cannot really disagree with you. But I find Lorenzo's point more relevant. We cannot make a good change in this system as this is going to die sooner or later. What we are doing is mostly GPT-Lancing that should be legitimized by time.

The most problematic things are the low prices and the higher target for withdraw through bank transfer, given there not other option that would work for everyone. The question about off-platform payments is reinforced by this fact. Add to that the fact of many serious freelancers biding on low priced projects and doing cheap works even after having many recurring customers and years of experience. Many of us are complacent with this situation, even knowing that will be able to withdraw only after 3 months or even more, continue charging low prices. Each one know about his needs, but knowing that will be able to withdraw only after the completion of dozen of projects the smartest thing would be increase the prices. After all many of us want to deliver high quality works and this is not possible delivring 100 projects per month. I have decided myself to no bid on any project and reject projects of recurring customers and dedicate my time to personal projects. I don't know if i will once again take a project as freelancer on this platform.
Yes and its just commerce for people spoiling the market .
