Did you manage to make the MT5 on ticks after all?

Please enlighten me, if it is not difficult, if there is something I really do not know about the trend, its beginning, its visualization, continuation and completion, and, actually, about the reversal, its beginning, continuation and completion.

Add to this list such a notion as the width of the trend).

Add to this list a concept such as trend width).

Could you clarify what the "width" of a trend is and how it is defined? Usually a trend is associated with a line, which is known to have no width (or thickness)...

Probably the width of the trend channel

No, a trend line is not a trend. The trend is a channel and the slope of the channel is the direction of the trend. A break in the channel may be considered a change in the trend. The channel width=the width of the trend. This interpretation is based on the fact that the price is sort of blurred and goes back and forth during the motion. If we can see some areas of the rectilinear movement, they are either price leaps or the noise is removed by filters of brokerage companies.

Probably the width of a trend channel

A channel is a channel and a trend is a trend. Both concepts are different and are not defined in the same way.

No, a trend line is not a trend. The trend is a channel and the slope of the channel is the direction of the trend. A break in the channel can be considered a trend change. The width of the channel = the width of the trend.

Thus, we are adding probability and yield issues to it. Is it really necessary?

Another interesting series of sums of increments, please make a histogram (as Alexander did).

So we are also bringing in issues of probability and profitability. Do we have to?

Everyone acts according to his own understanding).
