FastStone Capture

Three things I always put in:

1) https://www.mql5.com/go?link=https://www.anvir.net// - compared to this little free monster, the standard task manager is just an amoeba. The most important thing about Anvir is

  • StartUp Control: Whenever you allow someone to start the system, Anvir will prompt you in a couple of seconds to add the new entry.
  • the autoloader can be configured for each application to automatically kill the entry as soon as it appears, without question
  • this level of detailed information about each process is unheard of elsewhere. here is a screenshot with tabs to give you an idea of what you can see:
  • Anvir icon in system tray shows CPU load, disk load, traffic load. As soon as icon columns jump up - you need to find the cause. By the way, it helps a lot in debugging: sometimes you write some stuff, put it on the chart and watch as your child becomes about 90% loaded on each tick.
  • and there are a lot more goodies.....

2) https://www.mql5.com/go?link=https://www.sandboxie.com// - it is a real sandbox! Any crawl can be started "in it" (practically) all changes will be made within the directory which it will create, here is a screenshot of the sandbox created for starting FireFox (and what will be killed upon finishing the program without getting onto the live disk)

3) MS free virtual machine - http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/ is for serious experiments.

I emphasise that these are not 100% security features, but rather a means of protecting and analysing all kinds of suspicious activity on your computer.

Thanks, ForexTools, great software.

avir has been crawling to a paid basis lately and the latest free versions have started to muck up, you need to look for the past versions that were de facto free...

By the way, I also use FastStone Capture, but the old version 4.6, which was free...

1) https://www.mql5.com/go?link=https://www.anvir.net// - по сравнению с этим маленьким бесплатным монстриком, стандартный диспетчер задач это просто амеба. Самое важное в Anvir ...

When starting up, and in the process of operation, it attempts to access various addresses on the internet.

I'm assuming it's for need, but it's still weird... or can I trust it?

Handy for analysing "what's taking up disk space?"

The first time I ran it, I was a little surprised

Files:
scanner.rar  151 kb

WinPatrol is a useful thing
