Monitoring is not working...

In general, it is very calm. Strange that the Japanese pair has made it to 102.80.

The Euro alone is confidently looking up, the other instruments are still at a crossroads...

Could it be the calm before the storm?

We'll see what happens at the end of the week, but so far the councillor seems to have got something wrong. Let's keep our fingers crossed for him and see if he gets it right...

It's not going to be a big deal... just a little rash...

There won't be much of a storm... just a little rush...
100 pips.

Pound adviser opens against the American

2008.04.02 23:00:02 '17252': order was opened : #1880882 buy 0.03 GBPUSD at 1.9885 sl: 1.9783 tp: 1.9974

On the Euro, on the contrary, the growth of the quid is expected

2008.04.03 00:00:05 '17252': order was opened : #1881320 sell 0.02 EURUSD at 1.5663 sl: 1.5750 tp: 1.5577

Previous positions on both instruments were closed with losses.

I excluded GBPUSD from my portfolio, because my Expert Advisor has been losing three lots in a row on the pound. The Expert Advisor was over-optimised and quarantined in the demo.

Instead of the pound I added the Aussie to my portfolio from quarantine

AUDUSD sell tp = 0.9063 sl = 0.9248

The advisor is still unaware that Bernanke has already reported a possible downturn in the US economy in the first half of 2008 and stubbornly continues to bet on the quid rising:

2008.04.03 15:00:06 '17252': order was opened : #1888038 sell 0.03 EURUSD at 1.5553 sl: 1.5640 tp: 1.5467

It's like a field hospital: I've operated - to the infirmary...

But what is a 100 p. for the market - a trifle ! Any accident can push any instrument up to 100 p.

And we close immediately. And if you look at the market picture (I'll refrain from saying - "the wave picture"), then 100-200 points does not make any difference.

The real market picture change, in my opinion, is characterized by movements of 500-600 points,

we cannot afford it. Much less can we afford to strengthen at a good price.

As a result - feverish, indiscriminate moves, which do not lead to anything good...

Analyzing my practical experience with VTE, I see that success was achieved precisely by a firm belief in the general market trend indicated by the older waves.

Thus, it turns out that success has one reason - 1. a firm belief in the general trend,

And failure has two causes - 1. a firm belief in the general trend

2. lack of any belief.

And the question - "what to do?", is still open.

I can't allow a strategy that has already given losses to continue to give them out further. That's why the highly volatile GBPUSD pair has been taken out of the range. Re-optimised it and put it on the demo.

And this is quite adequate. The coach of a sports team also always keeps a bench and sends not the best players to it, but the ones who failed to show what was expected of them.

I do the same with currency pairs.
