I had 64 lit up in red. I turned it off straight away and don't risk it any more.
As far as I know, core2duo is quite an x64 processor.
And since it's so necessary to have a 64 bit system, I'll have to have it. I'm just personally quite happy with x32, I'm sticking with it for my old TV tuner which suits me just fine but has no x64 drivers.
But that's ok. Let's install the 64-bit system. However, here I don't want to loose all processing power of my local network and I don't want to connect to cloud computing when it's not really required. I'd like to at least keep testing agents for a few more years with the ability to install on x32 processors.
I have an 8320, max temp is 61, I have it on water, in hot weather with max load it doesn't get higher than 49, it's also quiet, water rules)
Nyh! Do you have a cryogenic refrigerator in there? Interesting drainage solution though, high pressure hoses.
I'd like a link, too, if you don't mind.
Cool, I hadn't even thought about a car heater before, I've always imagined it on a smaller scale.... are there coolers on the heater or not?
I wonder if the temperature of the processor may be lower than normal, and if this may have a negative effect on the operation of the processor.
In the x64 architecture, 32-bit programs are fully alive. So a program can be 32bit but solder to x64
The question is different - I can put x64 on the main computer. But on the network computers - I will have to stay on x32, and I don't want to lose agents.
This is the beginning of optimisation
Basically slipped through, two months into optimisation, added another six months...
The question is basically this: Cloud agents, in the same mode my hardware will race.... of course, half of all agents can be disabled, but it's better to set adjustable parameter Max CPU power, using Microsoft example. Of course, some people may like to use 100% of processors, no need to limit people here too, .... but not everyone is that advanced to realize that their processor is fried by their favorite software product manufacturer, I have the standard cooling from the boxed version of the processor with a cooler in the kit....
