What ideas, verbose verbose?
You were told a year ago that AI is incapable of generating new ideas, even that hasn't reached you yet?
A lot of things that were thesesised a long time ago haven't reached you yet. So respect the hierarchy.AI is incapable of generating new ideas...
Yerp. I proved this by fiddling with presently existing AI.
If you work at JP Morgan, you might have access to agentic AI which allegedly can create new ideas... or maybe you were replaced by it before you got access. 😏
Yerp. I proved it by messing around with the existing AI.
If you work at JP Morgan, you may have access to an agency AI that can supposedly create new ideas.... Or you may have been replaced by it before you got access. 😏
What exactly has been proven and to whom? )
I uploaded 4.6 GB of M1 EURUSD OHLC historic price data to Gemini and challenged it by prompting it to give me the most profitable trading strategy.
It returned absolute nonsense, e.g., a 10 period SMA, a 20 period SMA, and advised me to use my own discretion to identify swing highs and lows, SL's, and TP's. This is the epitome of generic garbage.
Jamie Dimon claims to have agentic AI at JP Morgan, and I don't work there.

Jamie Dimon claims that JP Morgan has agency artificial intelligence and I don't work there.
Maybe promptus in MO are just dummies who don't know how to compose a competent prompt ;)
They don't even know the difference between interpolation and extrapolation. They're completely clueless, they have nothing to hold on to.
They either rewrite existing articles from one person to another, or flounder on the forum.
Agent-based means specifically pre-trained for certain tasks, which is to say with a narrow specialisation. Clearly, it doesn't generate any new ideas either :)
I suspect that. That's why I said "allegedly" and "claims." 😂
An agent of an individual human, I suppose. At the end of the day, it's still... the internet.
You haven't learnt how to make a prompt yet and you're already talking about extrapolation
I don't give a rat's behind about being a prompt. I won't use artificial intelligence because I've proven that it fails to mimic, let alone surpass, real human intelligence. Any intelligence should be able to:
I should note that I develop my own strategic logic and EA's from my own templates, and from scratch. Frankly, I have no need for artificial intelligence to implement my ideas. The fact that artificial intelligence is unable to ideate a strategy in plain language renders it useless. It fails to bring anything truly new to the table.
As a caveat, whoever named it "artificial" was a genius because it's fake as a football bat. Hey, artificial intelligence, go prompt yourself!
