Discussion of article "Better Programmer (Part 07): Notes on becoming a successful freelance developer" - page 4

No, of course not. I'm a stickler for the scientific approach to medicine. And life expectancy has been shown to have increased dramatically since the Middle Ages.

Well, how do Gypsies answer when you ask them: "Why do you tell fortunes, why do you deceive people?

- "There are enough fools for my lifetime!"

Great, but I hope you have not considered that freelancing in MQL5 is not much different from freelancing on Fiverr or Upwork. My MQL5 portfolio doesn't tell you the whole story of my freelancing experience, this article can help anyone not only in the MQL5 community, that's why this was written with someone with less than 1000 full orders like you, but guess what?

If you had to teach them, you have a chance to write one, I think you have gone so far in this discussion that it could be another freelance job for you.

I hope you have great experience on fiverr or upwork. In this case, why you did not describe the other side of coin? Without it your article is not complete.

I hope you have big experience on fiverr or upwork. In this case, why you not described other side of coin? Without it your article is not complete.

talking about Fiverr in MQL5 is inappropriate and the job of a writer is to write only what is required, there is no complete article or piece of information, it all depends on how you see it, I think if something is missing, you should write it in a discussion for the benefit of the discussion or, as I just said, write your own independent article

I think you have seen a lot of flaws in the published content, I will be happy to read your own perfect information, but until then I don't have time for this discussion.

Did you personally measure life expectancy during the Middle Ages? And by the way, the world was created not in the Middle Ages, but a little bit earlier.

That's how long some of the ancient Greeks lived:

Pittacus, tyrant of Mytilene - about 80 years.

Solon, statesman - about 70.

Pisistratus, tyrant of Athens - 73.

Xenophanes, philosopher - about 92.

Pythagoras - about 80.

Anaximenes, philosopher - about 70.

Parmenides, philosopher - about 95.

Aristides, military leader - about 72.

And here's the length of reign of some Egyptian pharaohs (this is just the length of reign, not the entire life):

Piope II - 94 years,

Ramses II the Great - 67 years,

Thutmose III - 54 years,

Psammetichus - 51 years

About gypsies... I don't know, maybe I've met some other gypsies.))

Let's argue about it some more. You must have forgotten about epidemics, child mortality, trivial appendicitis. How many people died from plague, cholera, tuberculosis, how many children died from typhus and dysentery, etc. You could die from trivial paresis from tetanus or blood poisoning. Type "Black Death" in wikipedia and you will find out that only because of one plague epidemic 75 to 200 million people died (from 30% to 60% of the population of Europe). And what you cited, there were only a few who lived to that age, maybe 1 out of 100, maybe 1 out of 1000, I don't know those statistics. Hygiene, vaccinations, clean water and antibiotics helped to increase life expectancy many times over, and not witch doctors or priests.

There were no epidemics in the ancient world. They started in the Middle Ages.

If witch doctors and priests are in the same category. I wouldn't have started.

I'll finish.
