Discussion of article "Better Programmer (Part 07): Notes on becoming a successful freelance developer" - page 2

That's funny.

...

That's what success in freelancing is all about))) He's like that))) The rest of us have it even worse. In the first year of freelancing there were a couple of people who made good money in a year.

That's funny.

First. A person has done 4 jobs and received 2 negative reviews and after that decided to write an article "How to become a successful performer".

...

Read the article. What provision of the article amuses you? Other than the "number of jobs" style personality transition, do you have anything specific to say (what's wrong with the article)?

... It follows that he doesn't understand anything about it, ...

Nothing follows from that. Freelancing experience is not equal to work experience here on the resource. Regarding negative feedback -- there is a saying "you get two dead men for one dead man" -- it is much more useful to listen to a "bummer" than to a "success".

I've already written everything in the beginning. Read above. The article is most likely copied from other similar articles, for different freelancing (where is the experience to write it yourself?). What experience is also clear, according to reviews 2 out of 4 works with one star. So on a third-party resource the results are the same. It's the same if I write an article how to become a billionaire, although I don't have a single billion. :-)

You wrote: "Funny" -- and then went on to accuse the author of inexperience and incompetence.

A simple question for you: what is wrong with the article -- what point of the article is wrong -- what point of the article amuses you?

Can you answer specifically about the article?

I can, it amuses me that an author who couldn't become a successful freelancer wrote an article on this topic.

Well, if it's a fiction story, there's no question. Find something to pick on. Instead of writing here, you should have started freelancing a long time ago.

Instead of freelancing, there's rarely a day job.
