Discussion of article "Why Virtual Hosting On The MetaTrader 4 And MetaTrader 5 Is Better Than Usual VPS" - page 25

Question : I connected an experimental real account to virtual hosting, experimented, got the result - now I don't need it. Can I remove the old account from the virtual hosting and attach a new one (same broker, same account type)? I still have time left on my lease, and I plan to extend the lease further.

It turns out that there is no migration yet, but it is planned soon:

No.

There is no automatic migration, but soon we will give the possibility to migrate subscriptions manually within one provider and one price.

While the answer refers to switching between fast and slow servers, I think it also applies to using subscriptions by two accounts in turn.

P.S. Did an experiment on connecting to free hosting:
  1. Account #1 and #2 are of the same type, from the same merchant server.
  2. Leased to account #1. Successful. After 5 minutes - cancellation of account #1 lease.
  3. Restart the terminal.
  4. Lease to account #2. Successful.

The feature will be needed - you can rent not only for a month, but also at a discount. One of the servers, I rented with a discount for three months, let's say I drained the account during the month. Such an account, with such statistics will not be suitable for signal service.

You cancelled it here?

Cancelled here?
Yes. But I don't know how it would work with a paid subscription. You could lose money.

Well, let's wait for Metaquotes to comment.

Many cloud storage services now allow third-party applications to connect to the cloud. It would be great to transfer files with settings and instructions to the robot through synchronised folders of cloud storage. Advisors on different accounts could communicate with each other, the ability to send commands and data to advisors from any user device, heavy calculations on the user's machine and then a ready file to all advisors on different hosting accounts....

There's nothing about that in the article. Where did you get this?

Question for moderators. I don't know about the others, but at InstaForex the connection with the trading server is carried out through intermediate data centres, of which each server has many, with a wide geography. That's why it's interesting what ping is measured when selecting a server and then in the logs. Here is an example:

Ping1Ping2

How so?
