Are you saying that it is not mt4 ?

But we do not know what you downloaded and what you installed (because you do not want to provide any screenshot about it).

MT4 should be downloaded from the broker's website (this mql5 portal is not providing insllator for MT4 because the official support for MT4 was finished).

About MT4 ...

• You should download MT4 from the broker's website (any broker which support MT4; there are a lot of MT4 brokers), or
• use/read post #11 (install old MT4 build, and after that - update this old build to the build 1280 by connecting MT4 to MetaQuotes-Demo account.

I think I was correct in believing that if I downloaded DIRECTLY from the Metatrader 4 Site that I would be getting the "latest build" of Metatrader 4...!!!!!

I have spent TWO DAYS trying to sort out this MT4 problem...

Only to be told...after two days and at the last moment....that " The mql5 portal is NOT providing installer for MT4 because the official support for MT4 was finished".

That means there are others who have wasted so much time......

I think - I will stop providing any support in case the user does not provide (did not provide) and proofs/screenshots/ about what he did and screenshots about technical information.

It is responsibility of the users to provide correct proofs (screenshots, log files).
No proofs = no forum support (and the service desk is not helping in case of no proofs).

• what you are trying to do (which error/issue in general) - few words
  
• Windows version (for example, Windows 10 64 bit)
• Community tab in Metatrader - screenshot with password hidden from the public
• Internet Explorer version - screenshot
• Metatrader build - screenshot
• log files - download log file in *txt format - attached
• which error and when/why - screenshot and/or copy text from the log file
  
• changed password (yes, not)
• placed changed password in Community tab (yes, not), pressed OK after placed new password in Community tab?
  
• Market tab - Purchases - screenshots (look at my screenshots on the post #13)
• click Install button or download button - error? screenshot; what was written in the log file after pressing? log file in text format + screenshot.
  
• "1.open data folder 2.once you open the data folder go back to the Terminal folder .3 once in the terminal folder go to the Community folder and delete everything in there ,restart mt4 and in mt4 go to terminal/market and login to your mql5 account and everything should work " - I think you did it, right? Did you fill Community tab in metatrader after that? Press OK after filling your login/pass?

The people are asking and the people are providing the proofs.
Look at this search results links.

You did not want to provide any screenshot about your build of Metatrader (I asked many times ... you did not care about ...you did not care and you ignored my requests about screenshots/proofs during the two days!)... and your words such as "I checked everything" were not true at all!
