Dear XARD,

Bit confused with position sizing in gold on the excel sheet. Do you suggest to take 1 lot per 1000 dollar account?? (with 1:200 leverage). Can you please elaborate.

For eg: I recently sold 1 lot xauusd at 1232.05 and closed it at 1230.99 and i netted 65.94 pounds. This was for 5k pound account. This means i bagged 106 pips right??

Sorry to ask a basic question but bit confused on pips and position sizing on gold.

Thanks and Regards

Sudhindra

Here is an excel spreadsheet (you can change the Start Fund and the Target Pip$ values).

I have deliberately protected the spread sheet, that way you can use the info as a guide.

The idea being that you trade for 10 consecutive Days then pay yourself 10% from your winnings then start over again.

This gives you a fortnightly "Pay Check" and allows for your Fund to grow (in theory :-)

Hi Xard777,

An indicator like the bottom one it would be fantastic. Just for me, as I have many charts opened at the same time from different pairs in lower timeframes for finding better entry points, it woud be easier to move from one chart to other just looking at he color of the template to know if I'm going to look for buy or sell entries according to the overall analisys done by myself, taking into account not only the signal of the stochastic or the color of the coreline for example, but also for the price action in the last hours, the near supports of resistances, fibonacci retracements,.... and so on.

I don't know if if is easier to make an indicator for that, just in case you want to work also in the way I explained before. I don't know also if my way or trading makes sense for other's people way of trading.

Thanks again for all your time and help....

Which Timeframe recomended?

I will look at 1hr, 4hr & Daily TFs prior to a trade then I will settled down to the 4hr TF for trading but to each their own.

Update...I have added the 4TF indy plus tweaked the setup.

Where an indy has Alert capability you can turn on the notifications for alerts to your phone (provided that you have already installed the mobile MT4 on your phone). To add the alert simply select from the input menu AlertsOn= True & AlertsNotify= True).

You can choose which lines to show on the main chart from within the input menu of the indy CORE v7

Once you have the setup the way that you want it simply save your settings to a new template.

Enjoy!

Xard777INFO - If the chart does not look the way it should (usually when you first start MT4 up or change the template) simply change the screen Time Frame from 1hr then back to 4hr and it will display OK.

OOps! My Bad, We have a Bleeder...

The MT4 log file was bleeding out all over the place.

I caught it just in the nick of time before trading starts (no pun intended) and have patched it up good as new.

Please download this fixed version.

Happy Trading

Re The color scheme of the 4TF STOCH indy

If you change the BoxColorUP to White and the BoxColorDOWN to Crimson you will find that it is way better on the eyes.
