It is because whoever coded it did it so, I guess that that is the way the coder wants to avoid repainting, and it really will not repaint but the signals will always be so late (they can not be used in runtime)

results look quite good on the tester,

your right about them there isnt too much lag

and the first one seems very good as you originally set it up,
