Intraday Drawdowns are well under 1/2 of 1% (In a short period of time, this thread has become the 16th "most viewed" thread in the EA threads of Forex-tsd)

Starting Balance $2,000.00 (demo dollars) in each of the four tests below:

#1 #2 #3 #4

Tradebalancer v1.2 win v1.2a IncStep 1 v1.2a IncStep 2

$1,999.26 (equity) $2,009.37 $2,027.31 $2,022.88

I am curious to see if the opening gap will trade outside of these grids.

Have a nice weekend everybody☺

It makes it very hard to trade on automatic when we get a gap of this magnitude in an "always-in" gridding system...

Larger steps...like 50 or more are needed to be an EA that does not stop trading or...an expert coder needs to fix this problem...

Actually Waltini's incstep version is acting differntley than v1.2 as I am getting buy limit and sell limit orders...

Starting Balance $2,000.00 (demo dollars) in each of the four tests below:

#1 #2 #3 #4

Tradebalancer v1.2 win v1.2a IncStep 1 v1.2a IncStep 2

$2,010.68 (equity) $2,053.56 $2,088.51 $2,065.22

dd= 9% dd= 13.1% dd= 20.1% dd= 14.3%

#4 is the most robust thus far if you measure robustness buck for buck. #4 produces 20.13 times more yield than the risk it hands you over one year. These are projected figures thus far and as we get deeper into the test, the numbers become more accurate.

#1 is the wild card here as it trades differently than the other three tests (it only uses one pair and it tp's with the original waddah logic). It is hanging out with a 5% drawdown just now and never gets flat. The other 3 tests are entering and exiting several times now (they are doing global exits with little tiny profits, while waiting for a stronger directional move).

#2 is not a candidate for me as I had to manually enter trades for a while because of the weekend gap, while the waltini code with the incstep and Tradebalancer seemed to have a different logic in the code allowing it to pick up where it left off...so I think that Test #1, #3 or #4 might be best with 2 or 3K...we shall see.

#3 had a high intraday max drawdown and it is still early in the tests...I am sure there are many more moves to come that will exceed this recent one...so one needs to increase capital if using #3...which will reduce the bang for the buck...

I hope you are enjoying these 2K comparitive forward demo tests (IBFX mini-account) and Good Trading to All.
