This indicator look interesting from this post : https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/general

Would you please post a Screen Shot of Daily time frame of that indicator ?

Curious to see how it looks on higher time frame !

Thanks

One possible way of using it on daily (periods 15,50 using Hull average for super trends)

But since there are also 18 types of averages included the number of possible combinations is very big - one should experiment with the parameters for best settings

Dear Mladen, I've got a question for you. You say here : https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/general that RKFlatMarketwArrows is like Trend Direction & Force Index. You made here https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/general an averages version of it. I downloaded it, but it doesn't look like the the Trend Direction & Force Index. So my first question is : is the RKFlatMarketwArrows from this post https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/general still the same as Trend Direction & Force Index ? And my second question, as I like the Trend Direction & Force Index, is : is it possible to make an averages version out of it (out of this one would be great : https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/general) ?

Thanks a lot to you.

Piotr Wojdylo made 2 versions of that indicator for metastock : trend force index (which is the "flat market" indicator - it is much more obvious if you take a look at the code and if you know what names did Piotr Wojdylo use for variables that it is his work written all over the indicator) and trend direction & force index. The biggest difference is that in the "direction" version it oscillates around 0 value (bound from -1 to +1) while the "simple" force index is 0 limited from the lower side (bound from 0 to 1). So the "simple" version does not show what kind of a trend it is showing - it only shows that some trend is on or off

Anyway, made a version with the usual set of averages used for smoothing the result and posted it here (since it was originally posted there) : https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/general
