2. It would probably take to use different type of MACD (using some other average for calculation instead of using EMA as it is done in the original MACD)

The nature of those two is that they are very fast but not too smooth, and that implicitly, causes less smooth result. For smooth macd we need as smooth averages used as they can get

Four kind of signal line ;sma ,ema,lsma and smoothed.

That example of LBR is not self explanatory. Is there a problem with colors, or it is showing just sell signals on that example?

BTW : LBR is simply a 3-10-16 macd. I doubt that any macd can filter out signals like that without having some drawbacks too
