Yes. There is no reason for both buying and selling at the same time unless doing it in a very tight range. By going with some indicator, and indicator...we are at least filtering out some of the opposite trades that will be big killers to your account. If we are in a buying market, grab buys only. We can always pick up sells orders on the way down. There is no need to grab them right now.
Might be an elementary question but, sounds like your simply trading either long or short. So how does this become a Grid Trading System? What happens when your trading one way, and it moves the opposite of your trade? I thought the whole reason of having a grid system, is your in the trade regardless of the movement, is it not?

ah....saw the profit now... pretty impressive. your EA is called VX.v.2.1_Euro_Yen? you hedged them with EURUSD/USDJPY/EURUSD? not a bad idea though
Perhaps, you're working with a martingale system called the same name as McLean's system VX.V2 but your is called VX.v.2.1_Euro_Yen. There is 3 set of trade comment on your previous statement. I could be wrong. May be your EA has the similar name as Tecinvest's EA aike.
