Is anyone combining the MA of Heiken Ashi indicator in conjunction with trend envelopes... either as confirmation or otherwise.. if so, is it a helpful indicator and what rules are you using?
I believe in sharing info. so I posted some entry and exit ideas for trend envelopes in post #105; (Post #1 gives ideas on how to use trendstrength)
... But I haven't seen anybody post how they are using the MA of HA in this system, so when igor posted it, maybe I'm missing something.

Original system consists 3 tools:
2 indicators(SI and SSL) and one so-called trading system(arrows on the chart) which is based on a conjunction of crossing of 2 MAs(5LWMA and 10SMA) for HA Close, MACD(8,21,5) for HAClose and RSI(4) (>50 BUY, <50 SELL).
Moreover I've developed MACDofHA_v1.
So now we have full set of tools for this system.
I've finished one more indicator AddSignal_v1.
It's combined signal from MAs, MACD and RSI.

As I understand there are many kind of enter signals, confirmation and exit modes we can choose so it is very good.
