ok I have a better idea of it's decision pathways. It is ingenious even if I can't figure out what that one variable does. But select "show stats" and observe as gallileo observed..."and yet it moves."
I really think the key to this EA is learning how to win these tower patterns.
This is the current focus of my playing with the ATR in this version...
something is not working with it yet. results do not match settings..hum
btw I removed the pipsator from this just for the eurusd.
ya know, I really believe that the information is THERE in the EA to untangle these problem hours if we can only get it out of it and make sense of what indentifies them as they are forming so we can make correction action.
I think it will be a good weekend. I'm hopeful.
Look around all you cyberia testers. Examine your own reports and results and tell me...
IS there an occurance where you've really gotten in trouble with this EA where you didn't pull out of it reasonably quickly that WASN'T associate with one of these tower patterns?
If not then have we not isolated perhaps the biggest culprit? That's half the battle.those patterns are usually news candles.
Note to self: Time delay before allowing next order after s/l close.

what is the point of taking conlusions over low modeling quality reports??
pple should know that they should improve their modeling quality before taking decisions over virtual results;
even backtests with 90% aren't very worthy of trust;
sounds wise that mechanic traders should work this way:
1. Backtesting with 90%;
2. Demo account for a couple of months;
3. Real account;
4. Profit;
5. Laughs.
I think that we shouldn't give all the credits to an EA that "works very well" on a 50% modeling quality report.
