I have it running in Ubuntu 6.06. Copy over all MS Fonts includinging wingdings, and mfc40.dll and mfc42.dll. Program works but there are a few bugs and backtester doesn't work.

I was successful in getting mt4 to run on gentoo, but unfortunately I can't remember whether I used standard wine, crossover or cedega . I remember the menus not working correctly, but with one of the wine releases mt4 did work properly (or as well as can be expected under wine).

I will poke around on my ArchLinux install and see what I can come up with.

Just wondering, Is anybody trading a live account using Linux?

I have and it does work....

I would not use it until they release a linux version... Only ForEx trading platform works 100% with Linux so far is Oanda; because it is serverside and browser based...

Live account?

Yes... I have used on live account. I don't use it now as there are too many things that don't work right.

Wine runs on OSX now (x86). So, yes, there is MT4 for Mac - although I have no idea how stable it is..
