How often does this EA trade? I'm running it v3.1 on EURUSD and USDJPY on M30 timeframe. I left it running overnight but no trades. It does fine in backtests, over 500 trades in a 1 month period on both pairs.

It has the smiley face in the corner so I know its working

Number of digits on alpari broker

I'm using Firebird v3.2 on Alpari real acount, with great resuls, but in my demo account Alpari has changed the number of digits to 5, next week they do the same on real accounts.

I changed SL, TP, TS of EA multipling by 10, all works fine except the TS its not working now.

can somebody help me to fix this, or recode the EA to work with 5 digits pls?

Hi All

First let me say this Firebird v.3.2 Fixed is the best EA I've ever used.

BUT, it's out of control!!!

It's taking 13 Lots and 21 Lots and it just holds negative positions where as if I could keep it at 1 to 3 maybe 4 lots it wouldn't be as bad. It just waits until it makes money. Yesterday it hit 34 of 35 with some big winners and one loser but excellent results. But my real account could never take that burden.

How do I get it to only trade up to 3 lots instead of 13 or 21??? I don't really understand all the parameters in the setup.

Any one know why the FB 3.2 does not open any hedge order? In what circumstance will it trigger the hedge?

 

FireBird is the Old EA with Low Performance.

see all statement on this thread was so old report, now is 2009 friend.

all report test is too old (<2007).

let's say good bye for this EA method.

I begin to test Firebird v63G

and firebird 3.2 witch settings send by pabloski

I results will divide on the forum ...

but I have the question relating using firebird 3.2 on a 5 decimals quote platform.

in the version Firebird v63G I had to change TP and SL

from SL 300

on 3000

and TP from 50 on 500

it worked then

but I do not know if correctly !

I have to change these values ? in Firebird 3.2 ?? if I want to use on 5 decimals quote platform??

and or there is some different setting which it belonged by to alter??

he probably should change all values which one passes in pip?!
