New version of the EA: PolyFitScalper_v1.59.
New version of famous scalper was uploaded to Advanced Elite section. New MM inputs were added for martingale feature. So, now we can use martinale feature for this EA as additional exit. "It depends on the purpose one wants to use this indicator for which kind of post smoothing would one apply. Normalized Composite Fractal Behavior indicators were created for Advanced Elite:
- Cfb - normalized.
- Cfb - zero mean (z-score) normalized.
- Cfb - sigmoidal (logistic and hyperbolic) normalized.
- Cfb - logarithm modified sigmoidal (logistic and hyperbolic) normalized.
Mark Jurik, when using cfb as an modifier of some other indicator uses what he calls a "infinite length stochastic" to determine the length modifier (ratio) which then becomes an "cfb depending adaptive" indicator. A nice, catchy name (the "infinite length stochastic"), but what exactly does it mean?

If the slope is positive, there is a trend. If the slope is negative, there is no trend).

Velocity cfb adaptive indicator was programmed for Advanced Elite section of the forum. Velocity that uses cfb for changing / adapting it's length. The velocity itself is a smoothed momentum indicator and can be used as a signal indicator but the "cfb adaptive" is different indicator which gives dramatically faster crosses for the signal.
Practically.
On this image you can see regular velocity (upper on the chart) and his adaptive cfb velocity (lower on the chart). We can see that adaptive is giving 1 or 2 bars faster signal (0 line crosses). 1 or 2 bars faster signal is worth a lot in some cases.
