Fractals with EMA
I have noticed that fractals combined with 50 EMA in H1 chart can catch a most of trend. Idea is simple - when price brake up through 50 EMA and then apears first fractal (shows down) we open a long position. we close position on tp or reversal signal witch is - the first fractal (shows up) under the 50 EMA. in picture i have showed buy signall and we still have to be in long position, we just can take profit or wait for reversal signal!
sell
Now we get sell signal!
how we see there was a false signal, now we are back in buy postion!there was 50p stop loss!
Fractal trading
The chaos fractal trading method was the first system that I started making a profit in the forex. I only use it now in the euro\ us market overlap ( 7am-10am). The only problem is that it requires a trending market. I quickly learned that almost any system wil make money during these highly trending markets. At first I tried to apply it during all timeframes and it ate up all my profits during slow hours.
The one good thing about the chaos system is its position sizing with the awesome and accletrator oscillators. It has you adding on during a trending market which is the key! See Tharpe!
Your average trading methodology will say be long or short one unit only, example moving average crossover or cci woodies.
I am always on the lookout for anything trending and then i slap on the chaos indicators and trade the breakout.
can you show pastescreen how does it lookS?
The fractal edge trading system
I am a follower of the fractal edge trading system and I have the FTE plugin for Metastock software, I am now looking for Adaptive trading system plugin for Meastock. Is there anyone who would like to exchange this software with me ?

Hi
Hi,
I am testing the fractal system with the alligators, oscillators and gators and it works with the 15 min. EUR/USD chart.I am using minilots for the same and it works for 60% of times. The fractal's edge course says it works for 60-70% of times and they have given the stats for the last year.---KK
Ea
So, does anyone have an EA that approximates the Fractals Edge system?
crazy bunny, could you post the system in VTrader file format?
Fractuals?
I am new on this forum. I came over here because of a mention of "Murrey
Math". I've glanced at most of the comments on this thread and I just
wonder if you really are talking about the same thing. Here is my version...
fractuals happen only in the "ticks"....and sometimes in the "one minute".
You must remember that the "lower time frames" can happen only during the
"daily". Also Price is a graph of the sine angle and Time is a graph of the
cosine angle. And your slope...is of course...the tangent angle. The "tick"
is the only "truth"....all the rest are "history" or if you prefer..."footprints".
Now don't get the idea that this is something that I've came up with. It
all really started way back in 1834 by a guy named Bernard Bolzano and
then around 1860 a formula for it, by the name of Karl Weierstrauss. Now,
as I mention I only made a cursory pass at comments on this thread...
and ran across the name "Bill Willams"...then one member mentioned
what we "P&L'ers" call 'isolated high'. Don't know if he went into the
"phantom high and low"...but we P&L'ers know all about it, and hardly
understood it. Anyway....it's in the ticks that you are looking at the
real "fractuals"....we call it the "sitting ducks"....notice how these "sitting
ducks" jump from one roosting post to another....and then back again...
and if they are really ready to take off....then one "wing" will be higher
or lower depending if it's going up or down. We in P&L call it the
"Mother Goose". This happens in Pivot Point trading...but I haven't seen
it mention by Peter Bain or Bob Hunt, or anyone else...for that matter.
In the "sitting ducks"....your "time" is a big factor. You remember that
Price is the function of Time. So the longer that these "ducks" sit...
the greater its "slope" becomes "zero"....in other words start to become
a "secant angle". I'm going to stop here....because this is a complicated
subject, and for me to continue on, I would have to write a book.
ciao
