hi dear friends

would you please make a histogram indicator with below specifications :

1- value of each bar is equal to difference of today and yesterday adx (value = today adx - yesterday adx )( buil in meta trader adx indicator )

2- blue bar for positive value and red bar for negative value

3- adjustable period of adx

4- adjustable time frame (mtf )

5- non repaint

6- adjustable alarm (for example pop up or arrow for bars bigger than 5 )

difference of today and yesterday's adx value more than a level (fore example 5 based on past of chart )

is a trigger to get long or short position .

you can find its importance by analyze a chart .

if you or other friends would make this indicator , it will be so appreciated .

What about +Di and -DI?

ADX is just showing the strength of the trend, not the trend

4 color histogram can shows both adx and +-di as below:

green : adx is more than yesterday and +di is over -di ( up trend )

blue : adx is less than yesterday and +di is still over -di ( up tend correction )

red : adx is more than yesterday and -di is over +di ( down trend )

orange : adx is less than yesterday and -di is still over +di ( down trend correction )

That way it makes some snse

Otherwise it was not making any sense at all

Isn't that how the "super adx" was working and now nobody is using it?

i had a request before as below that could show slop and levels but nobody make this indicator

it will be appreciated if some one can make an adx indicator with these specifications :

4 bars : first bar for adx ( green for positive slope , red for negative slope and yellow for no direction )

second bar for +di ( green for positive slope , red for negative slope and yellow for no direction )

third bar for -di ( red for positive slope , green for negative slope and yellow for no direction )

and the last bar for adx value ( red for adx<20 , yellow for 20<adx<25 green for 25<adx<40 and aqua for 40<adx )

and also :

adjustable period for adx and di separately

adjustable time frame (multi time frame )

and non repainting

Maybe if the rules are not changed on each new post would help?

 

no programmer wants to make one of the above mentioned indicators ?
