i am using ver 1.42 do i need to adjust time frame?
Hi connecting4less,
I am testing this EA with Alpari rus broker, M30 timeframe. I did not change any settings from the beginning. Please find excel file attached with a;; Step EAs performance weekly from the beginning of the testing and statements for Step EA 1.42 version.
This 1.42 is always-in-play version.
This EA may perform differently with different broker.
The only version which is not always-in-play is 1.45.
There are no any settings for the time so it is not as SBS and TPE. So, broker's server time does not matter in this case.

Besides, members may find the performance in excel files for almost all EAs tested as an attachment to the first post of files thread.

As tp StepMAExpert_v1.45 so this EA may perform differently with different broker as well. For example: this EA did not open/close any trades since Sunday on Fibo Group broker. And look at the statement and image attached: this EA had one trade on Alpari rus broker with more than +200 pips in profit.
But the data for Alpari rus, Fibo group and North Finance brokers are very similar. And data for Alpari rus and IBFX are very very different. I mean brokers data. So if you are using some of Step EA with IBFX, FXDD or Alpari UK broker so, most probable you should correct the setting of the EA.
More than +400 puips in profit, GBPUSD, 1.42 version. The order is still open. See image.
And about +400 for 1.45 version with Alpari broker (see statement). This order is open as well. But this order was not open even with Fibo Group broker.

One trade is open for GBPUSD with 1.42 version: +378 pips in profit now.

Has anyone tried different versions of this e a with 50 pip stop loss and 75 to 100 pip profit target.With rentry on adjusted settings on stepma that would give faster reentry.
