Can it be modified for use with higher time frames eg 30 mins.?
Juice is just a modified version of Standard Deviation indicator, included in Metatrader. It is displayed as histogram, while St.Dev. is plotted as a line. It can be used at any time frame.
On the image is Juice with period of 7 and level of 0.0007. Above it is Standard Deviation Indicator with Period of 7 and level of 0.0007. As you can see is almost the same.
Hello, thanks for that Juice/StdDev comparison, it simplified my chart looks.
There is another thing, I use the T3_Taotra indicator but that one is just build from MA's, and because of that I only use two of the MA's, the 3 and 21 MA's.
But when i try to change to just use ordinary MA's it doesn't cross at the same place.
Can anyone tell me how to set the MA's, if its linear, exp or simple and what periods to use to make it the same.
Thanks
/Dennis
Hi,
Ready 1st version of Juice_mod.
You can average by last bars number (parameter CalcBars).
If CalcBars=0 then indicator calculate full history.
Parameter Ks adjust sensitivity for flat detection.
