I was not prompted to enter the password when I right-click on 'run as administrator'.
But thanks for the link that you have provided. I used one of the 7 options (compatibility mode). That's the simplest resolution that I have come across and it worked PERFECTLY! THANKS!
Had the same problem uninstalling Go Trader MT4 platform.
Resolved it by going to the program folder.
Locate the uninstall application.
Right click, go to properties.
Select run as administrator and run as compatibility of Windows XP(SP3).
Uninstalled the program perfectly.
Unfortunately none of these worked for me. I tried all possible ways to uninstall it but it still wouldn't let me.
I either didn't have the administrative rights or there would be an error at the uninstall icon which is in the MT4's folder.
So I downloaded an uninstaller software (Perfect uninstaller) temporarily, and finally I made it.
Any uninstaller software would work though.

Here is worked for me,
1. RIGHT Click the icon of MT4 or in the start Menu, Choose PROPERTIES, and click "OPEN FILE LOCATION"
2. RIGHT Click in uninstal icon, and choose properties, choose tab, compatibilities, set to compatible with windows XP SP3 and TURN ON THE RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR option
3. Click Apply and OK.
4. double click on uninstall icon, and uninstall it as usual.
