Testing the Strategy:
You can customize the EA for different market conditions by adjusting the Prd (Period), StopLoss , and session hours. During backtesting, please consider:

MT4 Installation & EA Setup Guide
Follow the steps below to properly install and run your TrendLines Pro EA:
1️⃣ Installing the MT4 Platform
Download and install MetaTrader 4 (MT4) from your broker’s website.
Log in using your account credentials (Login / Password / Server).
2️⃣ Installing the EA (Expert Advisor)
In MT4, go to the top menu: File → Open Data Folder.
Navigate to: MQL4 → Experts.
Copy the TrendLines_Pro_EA_Sessions.ex4 file into this folder.
Restart MT4 or right-click in the Navigator panel and select Refresh.
3️⃣ Attaching the EA to the Chart
Open the XAUUSD chart and set the timeframe to M1 or M5.
Drag the EA from the Navigator panel onto the chart.
In the pop-up window, ensure "Allow Live Trading" is checked.
Make sure the "AutoTrading" button at the top of MT4 is green. A smiling face 😊 in the top-right corner indicates the EA is active.
4️⃣ Recommended Settings
Symbol: XAUUSD
Timeframe: M1 / M5
MagicNumber: 123456 (Keeps trades separate from other EAs)
Session Filter: Verify London and NY start/end times against your broker’s server clock.
