HOW CAN I DOWNLOAD THE SOFTWARE

you need insert your mql5.com username and mql5.com password in the metatrader configs

se your forum login; do not use your email to login to Community tab in Metatrader.

Make sure -

  • that you have Internet Explorer the latest version installed on your PC (I am having version 11);
  • that you are using the latest build of Metatrader,
  • that you are login to Community folder using your login - not your email.
  • that your password is less than 10 characters (if your password is 10 or more characters - change this password; read this thread for information).


after you have your password your can insert into your Metatrader at this config

 


one time it is ok, you can download all of indicators and experts from Market


so if you want download mine you can just insert my name in the search

hello david, I cannot share the source code of this project because it involves a private library, However you can easily incorporate this indicator into your own project using the iCustom function, please follow the MetaQuotes's iCustom Doc

Hello David, Cannot you download this indicator directly from your Metatrader? above there are some instructions with image to download it, here is a tutorial of how  download a indicator inside the metatrader 5

you have the compressed file of this tool in your machine, press CTRL+SHIFT+D and go to folder MQL5/Indicators/Market/ there is the file "Support And Resistance Lines.ex5"  there 

What is the reason of you need this compressed file?

You've code the best S&R indicator I ever seen. However, there is a parameter that I cannot set correctly, is the "Display Mode=Ray life after close crossing", which it doesn't change at all, no matter the value I set in it.

May I know how can I set it in order to extend a few hours/days after the price cross the line, please?

Hello, thanks, that parameter must be combined with the "Line Lifespan at Close Crossing".

You cam make a test, inserting the number 2.0 there

So and the line's will be two times its size

the size of the line is from its birth to the candle that crosses it
