Goat Prop Guard MT4

Goat Prop Guard MT4 protects prop-firm challenge and funded accounts on MetaTrader 4. It watches your account every tick and closes everything before a firm rule is broken - so one bad trade or one revenge session cannot cost you the account.

Rules it enforces

  • Daily loss limit - % or money, measured from day-start balance, equity, or the higher of the two; custom day reset hour (server time)
  • Max overall drawdown - static or trailing; trailing floor can stop rising once it reaches the start balance
  • Profit target - notify, or close all and lock trading when the target is hit
  • Safety buffer - acts before the real limit (default at 90%) and warns at 70%
  • Max trades per day, max open positions, max lot per position
  • Mandatory stop loss - positions without SL are closed after a grace period you choose
  • Friday close - flatten and lock before the weekend

When a limit is hit

  • All positions are closed and pending orders deleted
  • The account stays flat until the lock ends (next trading day for daily rules)
  • Popup and push notifications

Built to be trusted

  • State is saved to a file, so locks and the day reference survive terminal restarts and global-variable wipes
  • Deposits and withdrawals do not distort the daily reference - safe to start on the same day the challenge is funded
  • Live panel: status, balance, equity, day reference, daily loss / drawdown / target meters, trades today, time to day reset, CLOSE ALL NOW button
  • No DLL, no WebRequest
