BreakoutLoop — Structured Gold Breakout EA (No Grid/Martingale or Recovery)

BreakoutLoop is an Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 designed for the XAUUSD (Gold) market. It combines three independent breakout strategies across multiple timeframes, advanced Dynamic trade management, a built-in news filter, and a live on-chart dashboard for full transparency.

The EA is built for traders who value structured risk management and clear performance monitoring over flashy promises. All trades are executed with pre-defined stop-loss and take-profit levels, and the dashboard provides real-time visibility into account metrics and strategy performance.

Core Strategy & Logic

BreakoutLoop runs three distinct breakout models simultaneously, each with its own lookback period, stop-loss distance, and trailing parameters:

  • Rapid – A faster-reacting model tuned for shorter-term price movements.

  • Core – A balanced model for intermediate-term swings.

  • Apex – A slower model designed to capture larger directional moves.

The EA places Buy Stop and Sell Stop pending orders. When one side triggers, the opposing pending order is automatically cancelled (OCO logic) to avoid conflicting positions. All positions are managed with a dynamic trailing stop dynamic trailing profit. Every trade is protected by SL / TP

    • Win/Loss counts for each strategy across the same periods.

    • Current market session (e.g., London, New York, Asian) and the next upcoming high-impact news event.

  • Risk Protection: An optional maximum drawdown guard can halt new entries and delete pending orders if equity falls below a user-defined percentage of peak equity.

  • Lot Sizing Flexibility: Choose between a fixed lot size or a step-based compounding model that increases lot size as the account balance grows.

Recommended Usage & Setup

  • Symbol: XAUUSD (Gold). The EA is optimised for gold’s price structure and volatility.

  • Timeframe: Any chart timeframe. The strategies use their own internal timeframes for signal generation, so the chart timeframe does not affect logic.

  • Account: A standard or cent Hedging account with a minimum balance of $500+ is recommended for the default fixed-lot setting

  • Leverage:1:500 or higher 

  • VPS: Strongly recommended

  • Broker: Works with any MT5 broker. The EA automatically adapts to 2-digit, 3-digit, or 4-digit gold price quoting.


Risk Disclosure

Trading foreign exchange and CFDs on margin carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors. Past performance is not indicative of future results. BreakoutLoop uses stop-loss orders on every trade, but slippage and gaps can occur, especially during news events. The built-in news filter is designed to reduce this risk but cannot eliminate it.
