Aymen Gold Adaptive

Aymen Gold Adaptive

Aymen Gold Adaptive is an Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 developed for gold trading. It combines staged hedging, signal-based reinforcement and basket management in one automated strategy.

The EA manages positions as a trading cycle. Depending on its conditions, it can open an opposite-direction hedge or a smaller same-direction reinforcement at a better price. Reinforcement is limited to one entry between hedge stages.

Main features

  • Staged position management with configurable initial lot size and trading distance.

  • Technical signals from multiple timeframes to support recovery decisions.

  • Smaller reinforcement entries when the relevant signal and price conditions are met.

  • Basket profit accounting that combines the EA’s realized cycle results with its floating positions.

  • Optional partial closing of profitable positions.

  • Partial-close activation that automatically scales with the configured initial lot.

  • Spread filtering and a configurable maximum total basket volume.

  • On-chart information showing the current management state.

Partial closing

Partial closing becomes eligible after a single entry exceeds 20 times the initial lot size. For example:

  • Initial lot 0.10: activation requires an entry larger than 2.00 lots.

  • Initial lot 0.01: activation requires an entry larger than 0.20 lots.

Once activated, eligibility remains until the basket ends. Actual partial closes also depend on the profit threshold, percentage, cooldown and broker volume requirements.

Available settings

  • InitialLot: starting trade volume.

  • Distance: spacing used by the fixed-distance stages, measured in strategy points.

  • MaxBasketLots: maximum permitted total open volume for the basket.

  • MaxSpreadPrice: spread threshold expressed in price units.

  • UsePartialClose: enables or disables partial closing.

  • PartialCloseProfitUSD: profit threshold for the selected position, interpreted in the account’s deposit currency despite the parameter name.

  • PartialClosePercent: percentage of the selected position to close.

  • MagicNumber: identifier used to distinguish the EA’s trades.

For this strategy, 100 strategy points represent a gold price movement of 10.00.

Account and setup

The EA requires a MetaTrader 5 hedging account that supports simultaneous buy and sell positions on the same symbol.

It has been tested with gold micro and standard contract specifications. Reference test setups used USD 200 with an initial lot of 0.10 on a micro account, and USD 2,000 with an initial lot of 0.01 on a standard account.

These are reference test deposits, not guaranteed safe minimum balances. Contract sizes, leverage, minimum volumes and volume steps differ between brokers. A cent-denominated account is not necessarily equivalent to a micro-contract account.

Set the initial lot to suit your broker’s gold contract specifications. Monetary profit thresholds and the maximum basket lot setting do not automatically scale when the initial lot changes.

Test the EA in the Strategy Tester and on a demo account before live use. Continuous operation requires a stable connection and a running MetaTrader 5 terminal or suitable VPS.

News and market conditions

High-impact economic releases, sharp directional moves and violent reversals can produce substantial floating losses, especially when a basket is already open.

Avoid starting new trading cycles around major news releases. An existing basket remains exposed to market risk during news. This description does not imply that the EA includes an automatic economic-calendar news filter.

Backtests and risk

Any reports or videos shown are historical Strategy Tester results, not verified live-account performance. Separate monthly tests should not be interpreted as one continuous trading record.

The strategy uses hedging and increasing position sizes, including martingale-style progression. It can experience prolonged baskets, significant drawdown and loss of capital. Hedging, reinforcement and partial closing do not guarantee recovery or a break-even exit.

Actual results depend on market conditions, broker specifications, spreads, commissions, swaps and execution. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
