Lanko Dip Signals marks short-term pullbacks in the main stock indices while they are in a long-term uptrend. It shows signals only. It does not open or close trades.
How it works
The indicator watches US30, US100 and GER40 together from a single chart. A buy signal appears when the daily RSI(2) closes below 10 while price is above the 200-day simple moving average. The suggested exit comes when RSI(2) closes above 70, after 10 trading days, or when the stop at 3 x ATR(20) below the entry is reached. Gold can be added as an option.
What you see on the chart
- A green arrow under the candle that gave a buy signal
- The stop level for an open signal
- A dot where the exit rule was met
- The 200-day moving average
- A panel with each index, its RSI(2) value and the price that would trigger a signal today
- Lines for today's buy, exit and stop prices, on any timeframe
Alerts
The indicator can show a pop-up alert on the computer and send a push message to the MT5 mobile app. There is a daily check at a time you choose (20:00 GMT by default) and an optional short summary on days with no signal. Push messages only arrive while the terminal is running.
Settings
All rule values can be changed in the inputs. The broker symbol suffix is detected automatically. Sell signals are included but switched off by default.
Good to know
Signals are usually two or three a month across the three indices. The indicator works on any timeframe, but signals are always based on the daily candle. Your broker must offer at least one of US30, US100 (NAS100) or GER40 (DE40).
If you are a busy trader looking for swing trades, this indicator is made for you. It checks the market once a day and alerts your phone when there is a setup, so you don’t need to watch charts all day.
