Golden Goat Gold Trader

GOLDEN GOAT is an automated Expert Advisor developed specifically for XAUUSD (Gold) on the H1 timeframe. It uses separate BUY and SELL logic with trend, pullback, momentum and risk-management filters to identify higher-quality trading opportunities.

The EA is designed to trade in both market directions, but it is not a hedging system. GOLDEN GOAT manages one strategy position at a time and does not intentionally hold opposing BUY and SELL positions simultaneously.

The strategy also avoids aggressive recovery methods. It uses:

  • No martingale
  • No grid trading
  • No averaging down
  • No intentional BUY/SELL hedging
  • Controlled percentage-based risk management
  • Dynamic stop-loss and take-profit logic
  • Break-even and trade-management rules
  • Selectable risk profiles from Very Low to Extreme

GOLDEN GOAT is designed to be selective rather than continuously active, waiting for its internal conditions to align before entering a trade.

Risk Profiles: Very Low targets 0.50% risk per trade, Low 0.75%, Medium 1.00%, High 1.50%, Aggressive 2.00%, Very High 3.00% and Extreme 5.00%. Medium is the recommended reference profile. The EA also includes minimum-lot protection, which may skip trades on smaller accounts if the broker’s minimum lot size would cause actual risk to exceed the selected profile’s permitted limit.

Important: Users should backtest GOLDEN GOAT on their own broker before using it on a live account. Results can differ between brokers because of spreads, commissions, swaps, slippage, execution speed, liquidity, price feeds, contract specifications and minimum lot sizes.
