# OXXOR - Multi-Engine Gold Automation

## Overview
OXXOR is a fully automated Expert Advisor dedicated to **gold (XAUUSD)**. It combines several independent trading modules that share one risk budget, so that a single losing idea never carries the whole account. Every trade has a protective stop, the position size is calculated from the account balance, and the EA looks after its own orders, without any manual work.
Install it, attach it to a gold chart and keep the default settings: the defaults are the recommended ones.

## Key Features
### Two allocation modes
- **Select** (default) - a balanced allocation: fewer trades, smoother equity curve
- **Full** - the widest allocation: more trades and more diversification, with a larger drawdown

- **Low**, **Medium** (default) and **High** - one input scales the risk budget of the whole system
- Position size is based on the account's highest balance: it grows with the account and is not reduced during a drawdown, which is why the drawdown figures below matter

- **Protective stop on every trade** - no martingale and no averaging down against a losing position
- **News protection** - trading is paused around the major monthly US employment release (the terminal's economic calendar is used, with a built-in schedule as a fallback)

## Performance (MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester)
XAUUSD H1, every tick based on real ticks (history quality 100 %), initial deposit **1 000 USD** for each test, leverage 1:500. **Each calendar year is a separate test** starting from 1 000 USD: results are not compounded from one year to the next. Return = net profit / 1 000 USD.

Default settings are **Select / Medium**. The strongest years are not representative of every year: the weakest tested year (2021) returned between +13 % and +32 %, and losing months do occur (see the monthly figures in the screenshots). The equity drawdown figures are the maximum measured inside a single year: depending on the configuration the worst year reaches about 25 % to 51 %, which is part of the profile, so please choose the allocation and risk level you can accept.
A single continuous test over 2020-2026 (Select / Medium, 1 000 USD start, 99 % history quality) is shown in the last two screenshots for reference only: its result is compounded and no lot cap is applied, so late-period lot sizes exceed what brokers allow and this figure is not achievable in live trading.
Test conditions: tick data from Dukascopy imported as a custom symbol, which models the spread but **not** your broker's commission, swap, slippage or requotes. Live results will differ. Past performance is not indicative of future results.

## Input Parameters
- **Allocation** - Select or Full (default Select)
- **Risk_Level** - Low, Medium or High (default Medium)
- **Magic** - base identifier of the EA's orders (default 77100); keep the same value after an update to resume open orders and never run two copies with the same Magic on one symbol
- **Max_Spread** - maximum spread, in price units (USD for gold), above which no new order is placed (default 5.0)
- **News_Pause** - pause around the major US employment release (default true)
- **Show_Panel** - show the on-chart dashboard (default true)

## Installation Guide
1. Buy or rent the EA, then install it from the **Market** tab of your MetaTrader 5 terminal
2. Open an **XAUUSD** chart (your broker may add a suffix to the symbol name) on **H1**
3. Drag **Oxxor** from the Navigator onto the chart and keep the default inputs
4. Allow algorithmic trading and make sure the AutoTrading button is active
5. The OXXOR dashboard appears on the chart (it is switched off automatically on a VPS)

## Requirements
- **Platform:** MetaTrader 5
- **Account type:** **Hedging REQUIRED** (netting accounts are not supported)
- **Symbol:** gold only (XAUUSD, any broker suffix). On any other symbol the EA does not trade live and shows a message
- **Balance:** 1 000 USD or more recommended (below that, the broker's minimum lot may raise the effective risk)
- **Leverage:** 1:100 or higher (backtests at 1:500)
- **Broker:** a low spread on gold matters, an ECN or raw-spread account is preferable
- **VPS:** recommended for 24/7 operation
