New EA Development is Needed

Hi Everyone,

I am looking to hire a developer to create an Expert Advisor (EA) for MetaTrader 5, utilizing two custom indicators: HalfTrend and Squeeze Momentum. The EA should be designed based on specific trading conditions which I will detail below, and it should also include comprehensive optimization and backtesting.

Project Details:

• Indicators to be Used:

  1. HalfTrend Indicator: Should generate buy/sell signals based on indicator values (e.g., trend direction).

  2. Squeeze Momentum Indicator: Should be used for detecting squeeze and release conditions for further confirmation.

• EA Logic Requirements:

  • Buy Condition: If both HalfTrend and Squeeze Momentum indicate positive values.

  • Sell Condition: If both indicators indicate negative values.

  • Additional Conditions: Include risk management features such as adjustable stop-loss, take-profit, and trailing stop.

• Technical Requirements:

  • EA must be compatible with MetaTrader 5.

  • All parameters should be customizable via the EA settings, including indicator parameters, trade sizes, risk settings, etc.

  • Utilize iCustom to read the indicators' values in real-time.

• Optimization & Backtesting:

  • Conduct extensive backtesting to evaluate the performance across different timeframes and market conditions.

  • Provide detailed backtesting results, including performance metrics such as drawdown, profitability, and win rate.

  • Optimize key parameters to improve EA performance.

Deliverables:

• Fully functional EA file (.mq5) with source code.

• Documentation describing how to install and use the EA.

• Backtesting results with detailed reports, including parameter combinations tested and performance summaries.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience with developing EAs in MQL5.

• Strong understanding of both technical analysis and automated trading strategies.

• Ability to deliver high-quality code and explain the implemented logic.

• Familiarity with indicator optimization and risk management principles.

Budget and Timeline:

• The budget for this project is negotiable, depending on the scope and complexity of the implementation.
